DBS Air-Pressure Disc Brake Air Brake Pneumatic Brake Clutch Caliper Disc Brake

 Air disc brake is pneumatic brake, which belong to a kind of historical work transmission parts, and their work mainly depends on air pressure. Due to the use of air pressure, air-pressure disc brakes are more environmentally friendly, durable, and low costs.


Working Principle

Both air-pressure disc brakes and air-pressure disc clutches generate axial thrust by the piston on the cylinder body, thereby forming torque transmission. Once the cylinder is depressurized, the spring will push the piston back to the initial position and the torque will disappear. When a spring brake is used, the  the torque from axial thrust is generated by the spring, and the brake can be released by applying appropriate air pressure to the piston.


Characteristic


1. Air brake has good effective heat release.

"continuous sliding" heat release effect is good, due to the use of a large heat capacity disk with fins, compared with the electromagnetic type, the heat capacity is large, high frequency, continuous sliding use torque stability Since no electronic parts are used, product deterioration due to overheating will not occur, and torque will not be reduced even if the temperature rises.

2.Air brake has a wide range of torque control.

By changing the air pressure to make mechanical subtle torque adjustment possible, preventing overload gates, tension control, soft start and smooth stop, etc. are all implemented with good precision.

3.Air brake has good safety.

No electrical sparks are generated, and because no electricity is used, no electrical sparks are generated, which is safe and reliable. The non-asbestos friction plate does not use asbestos at all for the friction side, achieving good abrasion resistance and heat resistance.

4.Air brake is more smooth and simple.

The speed of response is 20% faster than the electromagnetic type. The smooth connection and the adjustment of the brake transmission torque are very simple, and the power connection and braking can be carried out smoothly. The sleek operation makes the durability of the machine up, and produces great value.

5.Air brake has Long life.

Simple maintenance and good heat dissipation effect. The thickness of the friction plate is very generous. Compared with the electromagnetic type, the life is 2.5 to 5 times longer. The friction plate exchange is simple, and it is designed to be a type that can easily exchange the friction plate.
